XCEM ALPHAFLOOR is a precast concrete panel. It is the only cost-effective, solid concrete floor system available in the Australian Construction Industry.

If required, the panel is sanded very easily using a standard drum sander (used on particleboard flooring) with 3/40 grit paper.

Every ALPHAFLOOR panel is manufactured at our plant in the Southern Highlands, NSW. ALPHAFLOOR is an Australian invention, developed over ten years with more than $9 million invested in Australian plant and equipment, including a one-of-a-kind precision concrete grinding line.

Every panel is precision ground before dispatch, with thickness variation consistently under 1.5mm, panel to panel. If required to accommodate floor finishes, panels can be sanded in the same way as particleboard flooring, using a standard upright drum sander.

Yes. ALPHAFLOOR is compatible with both timber and steel framing, including TRUECORE steel. Fixing specifications for steel joists are set out in the Technical & Installation Manual.

No. ALPHAFLOOR is solid concrete and is designed for exposure during construction: rain, sun and site traffic. There is no weather exposure window and no requirement to install floor finishes within a set number of days. Some imported board products do carry such limits in their installation guides and warranties, so always check the documents of any product you are comparing.
